All-Hallow’s Eve is an all-around favorite at Holy Family Home! Halloween brings back memories of masquerading in homemade costumes when we were kids and, later, dressing up children and grandchildren for trick-or-treating.
This year, once again, we give a shout-out for the Board of St. Francis for their consistent kindness in sending seasonal gifts. Trick-or-treaters loved the goodie-pails hand-delivered by these faithful friends.
Also, we were delighted to welcome back our familiar one-man-band-Joe. The Residents love the way Joe remembers their favorite tunes and even hands them the mic to sing. He performs with such a personal touch, calling them by name, and setting to music their memories of days gone-by.
The ladies from the board and Stephanie, our Activities Director, kept the Residents moving and grooving to the rhythm of Joe’s music. Snacks were served with a lively step. Spirits were lifted above the spooks of Halloween preparing us to celebrate.
