The Countdown is On: Our Residents are Ready to Rock!
If you walk through the halls of Holy Family Home these days, you’ll get the feeling, we’re in “Concert Countdown Mode!” Our Residents are marking their calendars and sharing stories as we get closer to one of our favorite evenings of the year: the Annual Spring Concert at Villanova.
A Gift from the Heart
We are incredibly blessed by our friends, the Augustinians. Every year, they generously open the doors of the stunning John & Joan Mullen Center for Performing Arts to the Little Sisters of the Poor, allowing us to host our fundraiser free of charge. This beautiful venue provides the perfect stage for an evening of music, community, and joy.
The Soundtrack of a Lifetime
This year, on Saturday, May 2nd, we welcome The City Rhythm Orchestra. They’ll be taking us on a nostalgic journey with “American Soundtrack: 20th Century Hits from Sinatra to Rock.” From the sophisticated swing of Frank Sinatra to the high-energy anthems of the rock ‘n’ roll era, these are the songs that define the milestones of our Residents’ lives. To see their faces light up as they resonate with these “old favorites” is a gift in itself.
