Association Jeanne Jugan
We are an association of Catholic lay men and women whose mission is to imbue the world with the spirit of St. Jeanne Jugan and her mission of hospitality in our daily milieu. We work in close collaboration with the Little Sisters, for we wish to be the extension of their hands and their hearts!
New members of the Association undergo a year of spiritual preparation and make their promise on the feast of St. Joseph the Worker, together with the other members of the Association who renew their annual promise the same day.
The Association members meet several times throughout the year to continue deepening their understanding of the spirit of St. Jeanne Jugan.
Some of the Association Jeanne Jugan activities at Holy Family Home include:
- Assisting with the meal service of the Residents as well as a weekly Happy Hour
- Driving or accompanying Residents for outings and appointments
- Helping the Activity Department with celebrations for feast days, holidays and other special events
- Spending quality time with Residents through friendly visits
- Many other opportunities for individualized activities

Young Helpers Are Always Welcome
Are you a young adult, high school or college student looking for a way to make a difference in the world? Are you seeking a place to volunteer your time and talents? Do you enjoy helping the elderly?
If you’ve answered yes to any of these questions, you’ve come to the right place!
Youth service options at Holy Family Home include:
- Mass with the Residents and Little Sisters – every day at 11 a.m. (Sundays 10:30 am)
- Providing music, dance, and entertainment – our Residents always enjoy performances by school groups!
- School classes or youth groups could sponsor an event – a bingo party or another special activity
Groups that come regularly to our home include:
- Villanova University
- Temple University
- University of Pennsylvania
- St. John Evangelist Young Adult Group
- Hospitality Club
