A vibrant plant swap recently wrapped up the Season of Creation 2026 at Holy Family Home. Activities Director Stephanie invited Residents from the apartments and the St. Joseph Unit to gather, share, and exchange their favorite plants. The inner courtyard was bathed in beautiful warm weather and sunshine as Residents connected over their shared love of nature. Here is a look at how our “Little Family” enjoyed the day:
- New Passions: Resident Patricia shared, “I was never a plant person, but now my windowsill has a lively line of little pots. I find it fascinating to watch them grow!”
- Expert Advice: Mike, a true horticulturist, was completely in his element. He showed everyone the proper way to cut snippings and plant them for the best chance of survival.
- Seasoned Green Thumbs: Terry, a veteran plant lover, brought plenty of beautiful plants and helpful advice to share with her neighbors.
- Community Spirit: Our Administrator, Claudia, loved seeing the wonderful turnout and watching everyone enjoy this lively, engaging activity together.
- Little Sisters were moved to say “Blessed be God” as they watched this perfect way to celebrate God’s creation, share knowledge, and add a little more green to our home!
