Flag Day 2023
That “Grand Ole Flag, symbol of the land I love,” was once used to keep the troops from losing their way. They would follow the flag to advance together to victory.
At Holy Mass on June 14, 2023, our Chaplain, Father James Sullivan, advised taking St. Joseph as our flag! He can lead us with faith and fidelity!
That afternoon, entertainer Scott Samuel led us in celebrating our flag with waving, singing and toe-tapping. Resident Mary Ellen affirmed, as we were reluctantly leaving the lively party, “He (Scott) was great!”
