With a Little Sister at the piano and Fantastic Frankie drawing “ahs ‘n oohs” from the Residents with his magic tricks, we ushered in the New Year in the Father Ernest Center.
Frankie is a professional magician who has been entertaining at Holy Family Home for many years, never accepting a penny in pay. Chef Tara and the Dietary Staff outdid themselves, working all day December 31st to present a festive supper for this grand finale to 2025.
There was a real family atmosphere at our New Year’s Eve Party, which followed our praying together during a Holy Hour. Our Chaplain, Father Sullivan led us in asking God’s forgiveness for shortcomings during the past year, expressing thanksgiving for all the graces of the Jubilee year, and entrusting ourselves to His loving Providence in the year to come.
Finally, to conclude the evening, we counted down the minutes (several hours in advance) and, burst balloons to welcome 2026!
