Divine Providence at Thanksgiving Time
Sr. Veronica, our “Begging Sister,” is overwhelmed with Gifts from Divine Providence.
Time and again, gratitude for Divine Providence wells up in the heart of our Begging Sister, Sr. Veronica. This is especially true at Thanksgiving time when she sings with our Mother, St. Jeanne Jugan: “We must always say, Blessed be God! Thank you, my God! He is so good, God!”
Pictured below are some generous volunteers from St. John Neumann Parish in Bryn Mawr, PA. This parish has been donating wonderful bounty for six years, ever since a gentleman, Al Phelan, asked Sr. Veronica during her annual appeal in the parish if the residents of Holy Family Home would like some food for Thanksgiving – especially some turkeys! What began as six turkeys became 40 over the last 2-3 years! Blessed be God! Thank you, my God!
