A Musical Family Festival

We were recently treated to a Family Musical Festival by the son and grandchildren of Apartment Resident, Linda Ireland. Linda’s son, Patrick, his daughter, Grace, and his son-in-law, Drew, went to the trouble to learn some “Oldies but Goodies” so that the Residents could sing and dance along with them. Apartment Resident, Paul Buzas, like a marketing agent, went around inviting, even cajoling, Residents to come to the evening concert. Activity Director, Kelly, was all smiles as she arranged wheelchairs and walkers of a surprising turnout of elderly concert-goers. Not one regretted it! A lively musical treat was enjoyed by all!
Here’s what the Musical Family wrote to us afterwards: “We were so blessed to be able to perform in front of our friends, and have them sing and clap along with us. We hope that we can do it again! Peace, Pat Ireland”
