A Caring Guitarist
Moe Cadet came to Holy Family Home to share something unique—an amazing combination of musical and caring skills. Moe is not only a master classical guitarist, but also a former C.N.A. His wife is our own Activity Director, Deborah, and his granddaughter, Jackie, came along as a volunteer assistant. It was a real family entertainment!
The Residents readily responded to his warm demeanor as well as his impressive guitar performance. When they learned that he performs all over the world to raise money to help the poor, primarily in Philadelphia and Haiti, they knew his humility was the real thing. Golda Meir could never tell Moe— ‘Don’t be so humble – you are not that great.’ His musical talent, his caring, family spirit, and real humility, would surely put Moe Cadet on St. Jeanne Jugan’s list of “My Favorites.”
