IN2L (It’s Never Too Late)
It’s Never too Late is a computer program for seniors and for those who haven’t yet ventured onto the computer. It is user friendly, as they say in the field. In Holy Family Home terms it is called, touch the screen. Thanks to a generous donor we were able to purchase the system. It is a hit! The Residents love it. It gives them the ability to email and Skype as well as many other options. Karaoke has become an after lunch sensation on the nursing home unit. Whether it is Irish, patriotic, loves songs, or show tunes, the Residents are singing and smiling away. Friday mornings the Residents are doing yoga as well as chair Pilates on Tuesday. We have had guided tours through Europe and Australia. Games like Chicktionary exercise the mind. Lots of trivia and reminiscing top off a great day with our new computer. We are getting pretty computer savvy around here!
